folk dancing is a great way to exercise, socialize, hear some great
music, and learn a bit about the cultures of other countries.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME! NO EXPERIENCE OR
PARTNERS NEEDED - WE'LL TEACH YOU TO DANCE!
Monday Dancing

Meets every Monday the JCC is open

Monday dancing temporary location changes:
March 22nd: at Transfiguration Lutheran Church, 3760 Culver Rd., in East Irondequoit. The church is on Culver Rd., about half a mile north of the intersection of Titus Ave and Culver Rd.
March 29th: NO dancing, due to first seder of Passover
April 5th: Transfiguration church in Irondequoit
April 12th: back at the JCC

Location: Jewish Community Center auditorium 1200
Edgewood Road, near Westfall and route 390.

Time: 7:45 PM to 9:45 PM, teaching earlier and
requests later

Admission: free the first time, then $5 per adult;
$4 for dance club members. (No one is turned away; speak to the treasurer to
discuss admission fees.)

Location: Friends' Meeting House, 84 Scio Street
between Main St and East Ave, near Eastman Theater

Parking: free at East End garage across Scio St.,
in the church's small lot on Scio, or street parking.

Time: about 7:30 to 10:30 PM, teaching earlier, requests later

August: vacation! Resume after Labor Day
In general, we meet on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month, except for May, November, and December, when we meet on the 1st and 3rd Fridays to avoid end-of-month holidays. There may also be infrequent other exceptions.
